I can’t tell you how often we’re asked this question. It probably should have been up here long ago, but it is a difficult question to answer. Initially, our goal was to leave July 31st. Today as I write this (June 29th) I’ve just posted the wonderful news that we’ve raised half of our support. As excited as we are, it seems pretty unlikely we’ll raise the other half in 1 month. It has taken us about six months to raise the first half, and so it would be fairly realistic to say we’ll probably leave in January. If that’s God’s will, then so be it. However, we’d like to see it happen faster, and goals are an important part of what drives us. So we’re now aiming to leave October 31st. That gives us four months to raise our remaining funds, get through prefield training and get to the field.

Are we glad you asked! Right now we are trying to raise support for long term missionary service in Europe. This is an exhausting and expensive proposition. The best thing you can do for us is to pray! There are a number of ways we would ask you to pray for us and our mission:

1) Be in prayer that God will continue to lead and guide us as he intends, and also that we will be good listeners.
2) Pray that God will raise up monthly supports, who will join our financial support team and help make this mission happen.
3) Pray that God will continue to give us the necessary strength and resolve to keep at it.
4) We try to post important prayer issues here. Click the “prayer requests” link at the left, and pray for the specific issues we’re struggling with.
5) Finally, pray and ask God whether he intends you to support our mission. If you feel God calling you in this way, we’d love to talk to you. Alternately, you can click the “join our support team!” link on the left and sign up right now!

We’re looking for people who are willing to make a commitment to pray for us and our ministry everyday. If you’re willing please contact us so we can make sure to keep you informed about our specific needs and prayer requests.
