Prayer for Tim

2/27 AM Based on the latest update, it sounds as though Tim’s progress is slow, but we are seeing progress. Praise God! I can’t say enough how much difference I believe all the prayer is making. Thank you and may God bless you!

In case you’re not reviewing Tim’s Blog, I wanted to take a moment and share something really special with you. Tim’s twin girls had their birthday this week with both Mommy and Daddy away, but some friends were gracious enough to throw them a birthday party. Here is one of the photos:

The girl's b-day party

2/23 PM While the last couple of days have not been without their challenges, the doctors have done a better job managing Tim’s pain, and they appear confident in the diagnosis that he has a staf infection. They hope to be able to treat it with antibiotics but because of the extent of the infection they are anticipating some more invasive procedures. Also they are currently expecting to have him on bed rest for at least a month when all is said and done. Thank you for your continued prayer!

2/21 PM No real details yet but Dad and Vanessa have touched down in Hawaii. I just wanted to say thank you to all the people who replied to Brandy’s message yesterday. God is faithful, and Tim is already doing better because of your prayers. God Bless each one of you. If you would like to send a note of encouragement to Tim or the family, I’d suggest you use the comments link on the blog for Tim I linked below. Thank you again so very much!

Tim now has a blog where the family is posting detailed progress. I will still do periodic updates, but concerned individuals can get the latest and greatest at http://stepchild.coxbros.us

UPDATE: 2/20 PM – The doctors are finally beginning to move. They have done some tests, and while they are still inconclusive, things are not looking real good. Tim is still in horrible pain without relief. His wife and our Dad will leave early tomorrow morning to try to care for Tim and keep pressing the doctors locally instead of telephonically. Please pray for their travel and continue in prayer for Tim.

UPDATE: 2/20 AM – Tim’s ordeal continues. He has now checked himself into a hospital, as he can no longer walk and remains in excruciating pain. While the doctors have identified infections all over his body, they have not managed to determine a root cause. There are some tests outstanding that we honestly hope will come back negative. Please continue in prayer for Tim. This is a horrible thing to face alone.

Hello all,

As some of you are aware, my brother, Tim, is currently serving a tour in Hawaii away from his family. He’s been very seriously ill the last several days, and the doctors have not been able to figure out what is wrong with him. I’m going to refrain from providing any details at this point, but historically there are some reasons for grave concern based on his symptoms. Please be in prayer for him, his doctors, and his family. He is married with four kids, and the separation was already difficult before this happened.

Thanks.

Spread the love
